Purchasing

How to Purchase

After picking out the lot and/or slip you want, contact a representative from JTEK Developments to help draw up your Offer to Purchase. There is some information that we will need to proceed:

  • Lot Unit Number(s) and/or Marina Slip Unit Number(s)
  • Purchaser Information - Name, Address and Contact Information
  • The Offer to Purchase along with a 15% deposit will be forwarded to our Legal Firm (Francis & Company) where the deposit will be held in Trust until the development construction is complete.
  • Upon completion, each purchaser will be contacted and the title will be transferred as soon as the remaining balance of the purchase price is received.

ACQUISITION, Permit and Building Process

Offer to Purchase

Development and Building Permits

Development Permit

Before you can start construction or development of your lot you need to obtain a development permit. To do this, you must:

  • pay the application fee
  • produce a site and floor plan (examples and requirements on RM of Meota's Permit Application)
  • consult Condo Board GM or check RM Zoning bylaws for development requirements and restrictions
  • fill out the application
  • finally submit the application and all required documents to GM. The GM will review and submit to RM for approval.

Building Permit

Once your development permit and site plan are approved, you must submit an application for building permits (garage/accessory buildings). This process includes:

  • paying application fee
  • filing out building permit application

Development and Building Permit Applications

Condo Board General Manager Information

General Manager

What is the Condo Board GM? Since RV & Marina Estates is a Bareland Condominium, there is a Condo Board and a General Manger (GM) who takes care of lots of things within the development. As a lot owner, you are responsible for Development and Building Permits applications before the start of construction on your lot (as per RM Zoning Bylaws). These applications are then given to the GM for review, the GM will submit to the RM for approval.


All requests for information from the RM are to be directed to the GM. 


If you have questions or concerns regarding something at RV & Marina Estates, the GM is also the person to talk to! The GM will be fluent with the Condo Bylaws, RM Zoning Bylaws, maintenance processes, etc.
